Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

🚚 Logistics & Dispatch Management
Oversee day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Plan and optimize vehicle routing and scheduling for maximum efficiency.
Monitor loading/unloading activities and resolve transit-related issues.

🧾 Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure order readiness and dispatch accuracy.
Maintain strong control over stock movement, returns, and damages.

📦 Vendor & Transporter Management
Manage and negotiate with transport vendors for cost-effective solutions.
Track transporter performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and timelines.

📊 Reporting & Documentation
Maintain and analyze logistics KPIs (TAT, cost per shipment, delivery success rates).
Ensure proper documentation (invoices, e-way bills, dispatch notes) is maintained and audited.

⚙️ Process Improvement & Compliance
Identify and implement improvements in logistics and dispatch operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transport laws, and company policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in logistics, dispatch, and transportation
Strong knowledge of fleet management, inventory systems, and ERP software
Excellent communication, vendor management, and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Excel, TMS (Transport Management Systems), and dispatch planning tools
